About us

We are located in the south of Holland in a town called Heerlen in the neighborhood Palemig, on the edge of the Brunssummerheide (a very large forest) and the Sigrano sand mine. Here, our dogs can get rid of their energy by running, playing and swimming.

We first met the Cane Corso in 1993 and it was love at first sight. That love never left us. It now seems that many Cane Corso owners have seen that same dog as the first Cane Corso in their life. In 1995 we got our first own Cane Corso, Delilah. She came into our lives as a puppy from about 6 weeks and it was love at first sight again. There was no Dutch literature about the breed and we did not know the Italian language. There were not many books, so we have spent a lot of time and trouble learning about the breed. But with internet translation programs and dictionaries, we started to translate. The first thing we noticed, is that most books are written by breeders, who love to take the credit for the recovery of the breed, while they left out the important names of people that were involved in this recovery. So next to the enormous job of translating, we had to filter the information and have it verified, before the actual truth surfaced. Today with the internet, new owners don’t have to work so hard anymore to get to some information about the breed. But we are happy that we had to do it. The knowledge is firsthand and we will always remember that better, then second hand knowledge from just reading a book. And we can sure use our knowledge for our own breeding.

Over the years, we studied the breed and the good and the bad things about the breed and its bloodlines. We noticed that most dogs did not look a like. The breedstandard is however very clear about what the Cane Corso should look like.

Breeding Cane Corsos is a hobby for us. We only breed with dogs which are good enough to breed with. Before we decided to breed our Delilah, we studied the breed for 5 years. The results are stunning. For us health and character are the most important elements in a dog. Besides that, we surely do our best to breed Cane Corsos, which are very close to the breed standard. That our own bred Stella is now a Dutch Champion, was another dream to come through. After this good start and several other promising litters, we see a good future for us in the Cane Corso world.

Have fun with our site. If you have any questions regarding the breed or our own dogs, e-mail or call us. We will answer every serious question.
